Knitting pattern for Viva poncho by Hanne Falkenberg

Pretty and classic poncho with checkered pattern and roll collar (turtleneck can be added if you wish).

The model is worked from the neck and down in one piece. The neckline is finished with a roll collar and the polo collar is worked seperatly. The polo collar is not sewn on to the poncho so you can wear it in several different ways. You can also sew the polo collar on to the poncho if you want it to be fastent.

The checkred pattern is worked alternately with 1 strand and 2 strands.

Materials:
450g Önling No 20, 100% Shetland wool, by Hanne Falkenberg Design, approx. 225m/50g

Worked with one strand throughout

Gauge: Checkered pattern = 21 sts and 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle 4,5 mm, length 60 cm
2 needles 4.5 mm at least 80 cm.
Circular needle 4 mm for the neck, either 40 or 60cm long
