Vivacia
Also available as part of the e-book #1 One Skein Noro Projects
Pattern is available in English and in Dutch, you can choose which pdf you’d like when downloading.
Vivacia can be worn as a capelet in the version I made, or if you keep repeating the pattern, it becomes a shawl to snuggle into on cold evenings. I wanted to design something that only needed 1 skein of Noro to celebrate their wonderful use of color.
Materials
Yarn: 328yds/300m fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in Noro Silk Garden Sock (40% lambswool, 25% silk, 25% nylon, 10% kid mohair)
Needles: US 8/5 mm circular of length 32 in/80 cm at least.
Buttons: 1
Markers: if desired
Gauge
19 sts and 28 rows = 4 in /10 cm in garter stitch.
Sizes
Directions are given for 1 size
Small: 32.3 in/82 cm wide and 15 in/38 cm long at center
You can make this shawl any size you’d like, just keep on working the 4 rows of the body until you have just enough yarn to work the ending.
