Vneck Boxy
Yes! It’s top-down!
Throughout the years, the original Boxy pattern has been my most successful design. It has made so many knitters happy, and it has proven to be a timeless classic.
This new version includes a different neckline, but it is also worked from the top down to please most knitters’ preference for this method. As with the original pattern, both versions (knitted flat and knitted in the round) are included.
This design is Boxy’s sister. If you have purchased any Boxy version before (the original or the worsted one), get the V-neck Boxy with a 50% discount. Just place it in your cart and the discount will be automatic.
SIZES
The given sizes are called XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL) and they are recommended to fit a chest size of 28/30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58/60) inches 75/80 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 145/150) cm.
Shown in size M on a 36” bust.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
This sweater has a lot of positive ease built in this means that the finished product is way bigger than your bust measurement. However, not all the sizes have the same amount of ease built in, and that’s on purpose. Larger sizes don’t need the sweater to be as oversized as smaller sizes.
I would recommend you choose a size according to your bust measurement and the list of sizes above. For example: if you have a 40” (100 cm) bust size, choose size L. The finished sweater will have a circumference of 66½“ (166 cm).
Body circumference: 62 (66 ½, 66 ½, 66 ½, 74, 74 ,74, 78) inches; 155 (166, 166, 166, 185, 185, 185, 195) cm.
Sleeve circumference at elbow: 8½ (8¾, 9¼, 10, 10¾, 12, 12¾, 14) inches; 21 (22, 23, 25, 27, 30, 32, 35) cm.
Sleeve length from elbow to cuff: 6½ inches; 16.5 cm.
Total length (from shoulder to bottom hem): 21½ (22, 23, 23½, 24¼, 25½, 26, 28½) inches; 53.5 (55, 57.5, 58.5, 60.5, 64, 65, 71.5) cm.
