Vulkan Junior
Vulkan Junior has a circular yoke and is knit top-down with texture, colorwork, lace and cable. You start with the neckline, short rows in the back and knit the yoke with a horizontal cable. After the cable you pick up stitches and finish the yoke before you separate for body and sleeves that are knit separately.

Yarn:
This sweater was made with left over yarn in mind. My tip is to gather up all your waste yarn in a color scheme, no matter quality or weight, and pick up a new quality each time the pattern calls for a color change. As a guide I have split the yarn into six different qualities. Before each new section I give a suggestion to what quality you can use. This is just suggestions. You are free to do whatever you want! Hold yarn double or triple to get desired gauge and play around and have fun!
Yarn quantity:
Yarn A: 100 (100) 100 (150) 150 g Sandnes Lanett
Yarn B: 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g thin silk mohair in two colors so you can create two shades of YARN C, when held with YARN A.
Yarn C: YARN A+B.
Yarn D: 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g Rauma Iris (should be a contrast to yarn C)
Yarn E: 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g Rauma Puno
Yarn F: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball Rauma Concorde
If you add extra length to the yoke, body and/or sleeves you will need more yarn.
You will also need: Cable needle, stitch markers, sts holders/waste yarn, scissors, and needle to weave in loose ends.
