This pattern is for Victor, a voluptous fox (Vulpes vulpes) - good friend of Harold Fatmus.

He is knit in the round with Miniballs - 2 of the main foxy colour and one each of the white and 3 jumper colours. He can be made with just 10g/50m of the fox colour - this is explained in the instructions. The total used as knit is about 12g of the fox colour.

The base is knit flat in garter stitch, the tail is knit in the round and the body is knit in the round from the base to the tip of the nose.
The ears are worked as ‘afterthought’ which is explained in the pattern.

The body is then stuffed and seamed onto the base, the tail is sewn on to the body after stuffing. I also added a beanbag for weight and a flat base (I used the plastic lid off a tin of coffee) to keep him stable.

We have kits for this pattern available as well.
