I have fond memories of driving past the Ndebele houses with my parents as a child. With every road trip I could not wait to see their villages. My parents knew that should I fall asleep in the car, they had to wake me up before we got to that area. This pattern is a tribute to their rich culture and the influence their art had in my life. To this day, I love the rich, geometrical patterns that I saw as a child. It is those patterns, that caused my love for interlocking crochet, or as I call it, Wacky Weave.

Wacky Weave Ndebele is an interlocking design for a blanket in the following sizes:
• Small: about 108 x 128 cm
• Medium: about 138 x 158 cm
• Large: about 168 x 188 cm
• X-Large: about 198 x 218 cm
