Sizes: Unisex hat x-small (small, medium, large, x-large) – approximately 12 (13½, 15, 16½, 18)” circumference unstretched. The fabric is very elastic. Knit a size larger or use Aran weight yarn (which will change the gauge a bit) for a slouchy fit. Sample hats are both shown in size medium, but the one with the pompom is knit in a heavier yarn.

Materials:
• 175 (150, 225, 275, 325) yards worsted or Aran weight yarn. Hat without pompom shown in Dream in Color Classy color Grey Tabby (100% Merino; 113g; 250 yds). Hat with pompom shown in Brooks Farm Yarn Solana color shades of blue, lavender, and green (100% Superwash Wool; 5.8oz; 320 yds).
• Size US7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needles (or size required for gauge)
• Size US7 (4.5mm) double point needles (or size required for gauge)
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Faux fur pompom (optional)
