I have always loved projects where I can practice a new technique while still making something useful. These socks were designed with just that in mind. Walking on Sunshine is the perfect pattern for dipping your toes into colorwork if you are new, or for some fun practice, if you’re feeling rusty. An almost vanilla sock pattern, these socks are constructed toe-up with an afterthought heel and just a touch of colorwork at the toes and the cuff. Grab your larger needles if doing stranded colorwork, or a yarn needle if duplicate stitching strikes your fancy. If you are feeling extra daring, blend both! My favorite way to work these socks is to duplicate stitch the band at the toes, use stranded colorwork for C2 at the cuff and then go back and duplicate stitch C3.
