Wall Flower Basket
Description
This is designed to be a small wall basket of seasonal flowers. I have included two options for “attaching” the flowers.
- The flowers could be sewn to the front of the basket so things could be put in the basket.
- Styrofoam could be inserted in the basket and the flowers attached to strong wire or skewers to stick in the styrofoam.
Materials and Details
Worsted weight yarn: 200 yards total
Note: This is a great way to use up yarn ends. Grab a variety of yarns in your favorite or seasonal colors.
Sample Yarns: I used cotton yarn for the basket because I thought it looked more like a basket. You could use any worsted weight yarn.
Basket: Sugar N Cream Tan
Flowers: Lion Brand Mandala Ombre Tranquil
Crochet Hook: I (5.5mm)
Miscellaneous: yarn needle; Styrofoam and strong wire or wooden skewers (optional)
Gauge: not necessary for this project
Measurements: 7” wide x 8” tall (not including hanger)
