Wallingford
This shawlette is worked sideways. It’s started by casting on just a few stitches and increasing the stockinette section while working the lace edge. The stockinette section is then worked straight before decreasing back down. A change in stitch count in the lace keeps this shawlette interesting to work.
Errata (Version 1.0, updated in Version 1.1 and all subsequent versions):
For Lace Chart on WS rows (Row 2, 4, 6 & 8): p2tog should be k2tog
Pattern Note:
Throughout the shawl, you are repeating rows 1-8 of the Lace Chart. When working the increase section, and it says work rows 7 & 8, this is row 7 & 8 in the increase section. You are working the next row of the lace chart, which means you are repeating rows 1-8 of the lace chart over and over.
