Walnut Vest for Men
Now available as a download (with no errata!)
Errata: Tension listed in the magazine is for 1” or 2.5 cm, not for 4”/10 cm. Actual tension/gauge is correct here - 16 sts and 16 rows = 4”/10cm in Tunisian simple stitch.
Foundation chain is incorrect in the magazine- should read: With MC, 74 (84, 94, 104, 114) ch.
“Inspired by classic menswear patterns, I wanted to create a pattern that men would actually want to wear! Tunisian crochet is perfect for classic pieces - in a lightweight yarn it retains its shape but isn’t bulky.”
It is terribly hard to see in the photos but in the dark band, there is a basketweave stitch pattern of Tunisian knit stitch and Tunisian purl stitch. I will try to get a close up of my swatch later this week.
