by Thea Colman
Yarn
Worsted weight (#4 Medium).
Shown here: Quince & Co. Lark (100% wool; 134 yd 123 m/13/4 oz 50 g): goldfinch, 5 skeins.
Cowl is worked back and forth as a long strip, then the ends are sewn together to form a loop. This cowl could easily be modified for length or width by working more or fewer repeats of the pattern.
Needles
Size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
