Warmth on Point
This fun and easy poncho can be hooked up in a few days with two cakes of Lion Brand Mandala, a DK weight yarn, with a size H (5mm) crochet hook. You can also use a single color yarn, many colors, or a yarn with long color runs. Crochet two squares in spiral rounds until large enough, place them on point, and seam shoulders leaving a neck opening. Can be made with any weight of yarn by changing the hook size to suit the yarn. DK version took 1,071 yards. Worsted weight version with an I hook took about 800 yards. Make it any size by changing the size of the squares.
