Washington Square Vest
Finished Size 31½ (35¼, 39¼, 42¾, 46½, 50¾)“ bust circumference. Vest shown measures 35¼”, modeled with about 1” positive ease.
Yarn Tilli Tomas Elsie (33% wool, 33% silk, 33% milk protein; 135 yd 123 m/50 g): burnt orange, 5 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9) balls.
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32” and 16” circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): 32” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; four 5⁄8” buttons.
Gauge 23 sts and 33 rows = 4” in St st on smaller needle; 37 sts and 32 rows = 4” in woven cable on larger needle; left/right front lace = 1 3⁄8” wide on smaller needle.
