THIS TRIANGULAR shawl, designed by Jo Allport, is worked on the diagonal to create a lovely effect. It features an all-over lace pattern, which is both written out and charted here. The pattern forms two edges in garter stitch, while the third edge has a scalloped finish thanks to the stitch pattern. Jo’s shawl is knitted in a luxurious hand-dyed blend of merino and cashmere from Eden Cottage Yarns, called Hayton 4ply, in shade Tide.
