Waterfall Shawl
This half-circular shawl is knit from the neck down, beginning with a garter tab. The shawl is shaped with pie-shaped increases and features four lace stitch patterns reminiscent of tumbling streams down a waterfall.
I used a 2-ply fingering-weight handspun yarn in four colors for this shawl. You will need a total of approximately 510 yards to complete the shawl as written. I used approximately 95 yards of color 1, 110 yards of color 2, 160 yards of color 3 and 145 yards of color 4. (The shawl can, of course, also be knit in one single color, or using just 2 colors - one for the body and one for the final border.)
