Like the southern sea shores of the Irish county, this shawl uses of the combination of ombre and chevrons to give the effects of rippling waves. It has a great crescent shape that is easy to wear as it stays on without a shawl pin and can work as a scarf by draping it in different ways.
Beginning with a center neck cast on, the shawl features two sets of yarnover increases. The center section features a chevron pattern that highlights the lovely gradient yarns. The stripes extend into the “wings” of the crescent creating a pretty color- changing effect.
