Watershed
I grew up in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and after going to Earth Science camp as a kid, became a little obsessed with the idea that all land was basically a bowl. Ever since that summer I’ve liked knowing what bowl I was in—I always want to know where the water is going.
Combination Shawls have a sort of bowl-like shape, and as I began to think about streams joining rivers and flowing into bodies of water the idea for this shawl floated to the surface.
Magazine includes an extensive article detailing the shaping of Combination Shawls and giving you the tools to design your own!
