These mesh shorts are inspired by the same stitch pattern used in the Wave Strider mesh tank top

Designed to be created using your own personal measurements

Instructions for how to calculate stitch and row counts included in the written pattern

Top-down construction starting with the folded waistband (worked in rows then joined and folded) and drawstring, increasing to shape around hips, then split to work the legs individually

You will need something to create your drawstring (recommended tools and links provided in the written pattern) using spare worsted weight yarn

Gauge is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for this pattern as the calculations are based on meeting gauge, so definitely do a gauge swatch for this pattern

Two gauges are provided - one for the mesh and one for the ribbing
