A simple, but effective shawlette designed to wear as a scarf, worked in UK treble stitches throughout. You can wear this all year round ! Suitable for beginners. The instructions are written, no chart.

Ideally suited to colour changing yarns such as Scheepjes Whirl or Hobbii Twister, as the simple shape shows off the colour changes. You could make 2 shawlettes from one cake of either of the above. You could make 2 and wear them together if you wanted to show off all the colours in the cake.

Can also be worked in double knitting yarn as a scarf, it takes less than 100 gm of DK, so an ideal stash buster or for gifts.

Worked from side to side in rows with a gradual increase and decrease in shape and a stepped, eyelet edge on the bottom side on each pattern repeat in the increase section and a wavy edge on the decrease section.

You can make the shawlette as deep as you want by doing more repeats of the simple 6 row pattern. If you do more repeats this will add to the length, as there will be more decrease rows.

Finished size: Scheepjes Whirl /Hobbii Twister: wingspan 63”, depth at deepest point 18”
