Women’s Cable and Fair Isle Sweater

The movement of water at the shore can vary between soft ripples and giant crashing waves. It is very seldom still and quiet and because it’s constantly changing, water has the ability to surprise us.
This simple-shaped, easy-to-wear sweater is created with classic patterns used in new and unexpected ways. The placement of the cables and the contraction of the fabric when working them causes the lower edges to ripple and wae. The asymmetry of the Fair Isle pattern used at the yoke,a s well as the indistinct lines of simple striping of just two colors ona a white ground creates the visual effect of tossing waves.
