A knitted lacy design inspired by columns of sheaves of flax
Waves of Flax unite 2 lace patterns for a lovely, knitted tee. The shape is a large square that is made wider than the bust by 10-12 inches. This extra ease allows the tee to drape elegantly on the body and extends the armhole out over the shoulder to form a soft cap. The back is 2-3 inches longer than the front forming a flattering silhouette.
The front & back are worked flat in 2 pieces from the bottom up. There is some neck-shaping & the armhole and neck are finished in a band of single crochet.
The featured top was worked in 800 yards of Linea Pura Mare by Lana Grossa which is a sport weight yarn made of 50% linen, 33% Silk, & 17% cotton:361yds per 100g skein.
