Cedar Waxwings commonly come to feast on Mountain Ash berries in our backyard. Delicate cables and simple lace remind me of the spare autumn branches where our birds enjoy their pre-migration feast.
Waxwing is worked bottom up in the round to the underarms, split for the front and back, then worked flat until short rows gently shape the drop shoulders. After shoulders are seamed, sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. A curved hi-lo hem and scoop neck keep the styling soft and natural.
