Across the globe, women are considered to be the weaker sex. Menstruation, a part of the life giving circle, has been considered to be somthing dirty, something women need to hide and to be ashamed of. I would like to argue the opposite. We bleed and we go to work, we bleed and we take care of our family, we bleed a we live. What other proof do you need of women being strong and powerful?

Yarn
Yarn 350 meters per 100 gram.
Shown in: Rauma Finull colors nr 401 white and nr 435 dark red.
You need: white appr. 35 g, red appr. 35 g.

Size
One size, made to fit an average sized adult hand.
It measures app. 25 cm from cast on to cast off and 20 cm in circumference. The size of the mitten can be adjusted by changing the needle size or the yarn weight.

Needles and gauge
30 sts and 32 rows = 10x10 cm in stranded knitting.
5 DPN size 3 mm. Circular needles can be used if you prefer to work the mittens with magic loop. The instructions are written as if using DPNs.
