Designer Notes: “I once saw an old photograph of a wedding gown made entirely of handknitted and crocheted laces. I was intrigued with the idea of knitting a modern-day wedding gown that would have a similar timeless quality. But I wanted to be sure that the dress could be worn for other occasions, too. Let’s face it, most knitters today don’t have the inclination or the time to make something that would be worn only once…
I intentionally designed this outfit with two pieces to offer more sizing and knitting optionns… if you don’t want the wedding look, make the top alone in any color you like.” –Michele Rose Orne
