Exquisite fabric in diamond lace with ornate picots makes this comfortable summer dress worthy of special occasions. The inspiration for this dress was the work of a wedding planner at a beach wedding who tends to her duties in a beautiful and stylish but functional and easy-to-wear garment. The dress will also look edgy and chic with leggings.

The dress is worked from the top down. The construction allows length adjustments for better fit and individual style. Oversized sleeves are worked as part of the front and back in one piece. The back is worked first from neck to end of armhole. Front left side and right side are crocheted seamlessly from the back at neck and worked separately to form front neck opening and bridged together. Then front is worked as one piece to end of armhole. Both front and back are worked down in Diamond Lace pattern separately on body stitches only to lower hip where the fabric transitions into a wider section in Lace Stripe Pattern. The back is seamed to the front at the sides and sleeves are seamed from armhole to cuff. Cuffs and neck are edged.
