Weekend Away Infinity Scarf
Recently I was away for a weekend and realised I’d forgotten to pack a scarf - silly me! Luckily I had 3 balls of Scheepjes Stonewash and a 5mm crochet hook in my bag. I wanted to design something that would work up quickly, so I could wear it the next day. The result is this lovely infinity scarf. Before I had finished the first one, my mum asked if I could make one for her using hand-dyed yarn. It was then I realised that the pattern works well with almost any yarn. It can be made with 390m - 400m of any fingering weight 3ply, 4ply or 5ply yarn. The total weight of the finished project should be between 100g - 150g.
This pattern is designed to be beginner friendly and adjustable, with plenty of extra instructions given in the pattern. I used a size 5mm crochet hook, but you could easily go up or down a size depending on your tension. A chart for the pattern and boarder is included.
This pattern uses American crochet terminology. The following stitches are used in the pattern:
SS - Slip Stitch
Ch - Chain Stitch
DC – Double crochet
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the pattern and I will do my best to help out. I would love to see photos of pieces you’ve created using this pattern.
You are welcome to sell finished items made from my patterns, and it would make my day if you credit me as the designer. Do not sell, reproduce, or distribute any of the content included in this pattern for commercial purposes.
