Weld and Rhubarb Shawl
This shawl is my take on the Rent Shawl worn by Claire Fraser in Season 1 of Outlander. It’s super easy to knit up and goes quickly as you hold two strands of worsted weight yarn throughout. It’s easily adjustable for size. If you’d like it longer/bigger, just continue in the main color for the desired length and then add your contrast color bands. I call this shawl the Weld and Rhubarb shawl because the two yarns I used for the main color were dyed by me. One was dyed with Weld and the other with Rhubarb. I then overdyed both of them with indigo. Holding the two strands together gives a look I find pleasing. The contrast bands are simply some great Lion Brand Wool Ease yarn I had in my stash. The colors worked nicely together so there you have it.
