Sunsets have a very special place in my life, and I’m often left in awe of the changing colors. That was the inspiration behind the colors I chose for my personal shawl and also the name. West Bluff is an area on Mackinac Island here in Michigan, that looks out over the Straits of Mackinac and gorgeous sunsets over the water.

West Bluff is a crescent shawl knit from the top down starting with a garter tab cast on. Shaping is worked as increases on every row.

This pattern includes both written instructions and full charts.
