The West Village Blouse knitting pattern empowers you to create a generously oversized statement piece for your timeless wardrobe. It makes up for a versatile garment that can be worn across seasons, whether layered over a bra in the summer or over a long-sleeve shirt in the winter.
CONSTRUCTION
The blouse pattern is worked seamlessly top-down with drop-shoulder construction. Short rows are worked at the bottom to lower the back. Sleeves are picked up at the armscye and worked top-down, gradually increasing in width to a bell shape. The neckline is finished with an attached i-cord band and additional i-cord edging.

YARN
Lace-weight yarn, preferably a silk-mohair blend.
Yarn used: Quince & Co. Dove, colorway Jordan Pond – 83% kid mohair / 17% mulberry silk (250 m /273 yds per 50 g/1.8 oz.
2 (2.5, 2.5, 2.5, 3, 3, 3, 3.5, 3.5, 3.5) skeins or 492 (615, 615, 615, 738, 738, 738, 861, 861, 861) yds / 500 (625, 625, 625, 750, 750, 750, 875, 875, 875) m
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
US size 13 (9 mm) or the size needed to obtain the gauge
US size 8 (5 mm)
A long circular needle (32 in/80 cm), or the length you’re most comfortable using.
For sleeves, use long circular needles with the magic loop method or double-pointed needles of the same size.
NOTIONS
At least 2 stitch markers and 8 progress keepers, scrap yarn or a stitch holder, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
