This is a bottom up crescent shawl with a stitch pattern reminiscent of the harvesting of the rows of winter wheat. There is an airy contrasting color border that is blocked into points. The size and shape of the shawl lends itself to be worn either traditionally or draped in a number of ways around the neck, enhancing any outfit for any occasion.

SHAPE: Bottom-up, crescent

NOTIONS: 15 Stitch markers (Optional), tapestry needle for weaving ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Intermediate - The shawl has lace on both sides.

YARN: This pattern is better suited for a solid, speckled, or subtle variegated yarn to show off the detail of the lace.
