Where Earth Meets Sky
I was headed to a conference to present a paper over the weekend and decided to take a small project with me. I was thinking something like Sarah London’s “Apache Tears” would be perfect…
It morphed into something else.
My colors screamed for attention, vying for my full attention as I sat through a handful of presentations from other students from the Northeast. Despite my best attempt at multitasking, I undoubtedly and inadvertently changed the pattern.
Thus, Where Earth Meets Sky was born. Amidst lots of people talking. And lots of papers and cups of coffee.
Anyway, this cowl is made of six colors of Malabrigo Lace. Pick your favorite to edge the cowl in, and decide on a color sequence. The exact color sequence I used is described later in the pattern, but you’re welcome to change it, of course. Just keep in mind that if you change the number of rows you work, your yardage needed will change.
And if you do take it to a conference, make sure you’re prepared for a slightly different version of what you were planning for!
