Materials Needed:
Worsted/Size 4 yarn in three contrasting colors—approximately 190 yds (174 m) total
Color A: 140 yds (128 m)
Color B: 25 yds (23 m)
Color C: 25 yds (23 m)
US 8 (5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles, or size needed to meet gauge
US 9 (5.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles, or size needed to meet gauge
US 9 (5.5 mm) double-pointed needles (dpns) or US 9 (5.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a longer cord for Magic Loop method, or size needed to meet gauge
Safety pins or straight pins (optional for creating the double brim)
Scissors
2 stitch markers, 1 removable
