Beautiful wrap with unique ribbing texture. Wear as a shawl, scarf or shawlette. You can work this pattern in whatever yarn weight you like until it is the size you like. Just work your last row at the end of a section.

SIZING: One size fits most. After wet blocking but without a lot of stretching and allowing a little bit of the curling to remain, approximately 76” wingspan, 23” at widest point.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate however pictures and links to videos provided to help explain the unique stitch placement that creates this beautiful texture. Do not fear the intermediate rating. If you have made a few patterns and are comfortable trying something new, give it a try!

GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential. If your gauge is close to stated gauge, your finished shawlette will be close (after blocking) to the reported measurements. 2” = 10 traditional hdc, 7 rows

BLOCKING: As you crochet, your shawlette will appear to be “on the bias” and will therefore curl. Blocking will be necessary to control the curl and to define the edge. Block with your favorite method and one appropriate for your yarn. The fabric will be real stretchy and it is up to your personal preference if you keep the ribbing and only steam or spray block the curl and tips or if you wet block and open up the stitches. You can block none, a lot or a little-it’s up to you!
