This is a hybrid granny square/granny stripe blanket. Uses the join-as-you-go method for joining the squares sections.

Materials

100% acrylic DK (light worsted) yarn such as Patons FAB DK

• 8 x 100g balls (approx 2194m/2400yd) in white (A)

100% Acrylic DK (light worsted) yarn such as Stylecraft Special DK

• 600g approx total in assorted colours (B)

4.5mm (US size 7) crochet hook

Each square measures 11cm; bedcover measures 158cm square (62”).

Exact tension is not important on this project.
