Whitehorn Socks are a fun colourwork knit that makes great use of those speckled yarns you have in your stash that you never know what to do with. Named after one of the prominent mountain peaks in British Columbia, the pattern evokes feelings of snowy weather and crisp mountain air. The colourwork is simple enough for an adventurous beginner knitter, but interesting enough for even the most seasoned crafter.

The pattern is written in three sizes, for ankle measurements of 9 inches, 10 inches, and 11 inches.

Materials:

Yarn: Nanostitch Lab Scientific Sock, 2 skeins (or approx. 300-400 yards total of fingering weight yarn in two different colours)

Color A: Solid
Color B: Variegated

Needles:

Size US 1 (2.25 mm) DPNs or 32” circular for magic loop method.

Size US 2 (2.75 mm) DPNs or 32” circular for magic loop method.

Additional notions: Darning needle, stitch markers, stitch holders.
