I’ve had a gut feeling for some time now that River Song was going to return to Doctor Who. When the announcement was made in September, 2015, that she was going to be in the Christmas special, I happened to be in a Starbucks. I think I startled everyone in the coffee shop with my squeals of excitement. This cowl pattern had been on my design to do list for a while and River’s return is the perfect time to release the pattern.

About The Cowl - The pattern uses cables to create an infinity stitch design that reminds me of time being wibbly wobbly.

Huge thanks to Tracy (phoenixfire) for coming up with the amazing name for this cowl.

Pattern is written for knitting flat.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, ktbl, ptbl, slipping stitches, and cables. Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern.
