We do sell this as a kit, too!

Do you love pulling out your hand knit ornaments each year to celebrate the season? We do! In fact we love it so much that we brought out not one, but two ornaments this year! This listing is for our peaceful polar bear in an adorable sweater topped off by a darling scarf. The kit makes 2 bears, one with a red striped sweater with a green scarf, and his twinny in a green stripey sweater and a red scarf. These friends are perfect for your tree or mantel, or for gifting to your friends and family. And the best part is they are such a quick project we bet you could start a bear on Christmas Eve and have it hanging on your tree by Crhistmas morning!

These charming little polar bear friends are perfect to give as gifts, or to use for decorating your house. Think of how cute it would be if each of your guests had a bear holding their name on their plate at your Christmas dinner table! Or, start a tradition like we do and gift your family a sweet little ornament every year for their trees. Plus this is a quick and fun knit and you will find yourself making a whole house full of little knitted bear friends! You can also use the pattern to make multiple sizes of bear depending on what weight yarn you use, as illustrated in the last photo. We know, you didn’t think this pattern could get any better, but it totally did once you found out you could knit all kinds of sizes of bear. That “Buy Now” button is right there up to your right…

Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing won’t show through.

Needles: You pick! A 40” or longer circular needle (for Magic Loop Method) in a size right for your yarn.

Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, beginning of the round stitch marker (removable or closed), optional row counter, 14 removable stitch markers, stuffing, and a set of safety eyes and a triangle safety nose (or other eye choice such as buttons or scrap yarn for embroidery).

Finished size: Your finished size will depend on what weight yarn you use.
