Wickerwood

Wickerwood is worked in a modular fashion, in phases, from the top down.
Modifications:
Although the sweater shown is a cropped length, this design can work beautifully as a hip length sweater or a tunic. Just continue knitting the body as established until reaching 1” less than your desired length.
Techniques used:
Alternate cable cast-on, twisted stitches, cables, pick up and knit, short rows, Italian sewn bind-off.
Size of finished sweater, measured at full chest:
36 (40, 44, 48, 52) (56, 60, 64, 68)“
5-8” positive ease recommended.
Shown in size 3 worn with 8” ease on a 36” dress form.
Yarn:
Sunday Knits 3 ply (sport weight) in Nirvana (merino cashmere), Eden (merino), Brigadoon (merino tweed) or Angelic (merino angora); about 225 m / 245 yd per 50 g skein:
4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8, 9) skeins. Shown in Eden Stone.

Substitute any light sport weight yarn that works nicely to gauge: 900 (1030, 1160, 1310, 1430) (1560, 1720, 1870, 2030) yds.
