Braided cable ropes combine with a neat lace pattern, lending Wilbert a smart, nautical air.
Yarn: Yellow Version: Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply (85% wool, 15% silk; 199m 218yds per 50g skein) 2 skeins in Mustard
Green Version: Old Maiden Aunt Yarns SuperwashMerino 4ply (100% superwash merino; 366m 400yds per 100g skein) 1 skein in Bean Nighe
Needles: 2.5mm UK 13-12/US 1-2 80cm 32in circular needles or DPNs (or size needed to get correct tension) Cable needle, Stitch markers, Tapestry needle
Tension: 36 sts and 50 rounds = 10cm 4in over st st
46 sts and 50 rounds = 10cm 4in over twisted rib (unstretched)
22 sts = 4.5cm 1¾in over chart C cable pattern.
Sizes: Small (Medium, Large)
To fit foot circumference: 20.5 (23, 25.5) cm 8 (9, 10)in
Actual foot circumference of sock (unstretched): 14(16, 18) cm 5½ (6¼, 7) in
Length of leg to top of heel flap: 15cm 6in
Foot length is fully adjustable within the pattern.
