Wild Pinstripes Shawlette
The Wild Pinstripes Shawlette was designed to highlight that pair of skeins of irresistible handpainted yarn sitting in your basket looking gorgeous while waiting for you to figure out what to do with them.
The easy slip-stitch pattern creates vertical pinstriped columns that play with the beautiful colors you fell in love with in the skein. The shaping creates a lovely curve that makes it easy to wear and gives you an opportunity to use that special piece of shawl jewelry that you love.
Beginning with a Garter Tab Cast On (don’t worry, it’s easy), the shawlette is worked flat from the top down, ending with a simple garter stitch border. This pattern is easily adjusted if you have a little more or less yarn to work with. The wrong side is attractive, so if you weave your ends in carefully, the piece is reversible.
