Wild Rose Cowl
Pattern Description:
Lace pattern is both beautiful and practical when loom knit in a medium weight wool. Alternating stitch patterns are featured on this lovely lace and garter loom knit cowl/scarf. A medium weight yarn was used for the sample but this scarf can easily be transformed into a delicate, lacy scarf by using a lighter weight yarn. Loom knit this scarf any length you like, a lovely cowl, scarflet or go full length! There are even directions for turning this pattern into a shawl.
Cowl/scarf is accented with a vine rose bud and stem.
Pattern can be made into a cowl, scarflet, full length scarf or shawl. Directions are given for all.
LOOM: Any ½” peg spacing loom with at least 27 pegs (scarf/cowl), 53 pegs (15”w shawl), 66 pegs (extra wide shawl) (example, CinDWood looms), you may use other gauge looms but you must use peg/stitch multiples of 13 + 1. If changing gauge, your scarf will vary in width. Make a swatch or knit 5 to 10 rows and measure.
LEVEL: Intermediate (all directions are included).
