2021 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from 3 Wild Sheep!
How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 28nd, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

Without sheep there would be no wool, and without wool
there would not be this fabulous community of fiber
lovers! 3Wild Sheep would like to toast all of you with
your favorite knitting beverage, and this little sheep
coaster is the perfect spot to set your drink of choice in
between stitches. Cheers!

We knit a coaster with a light background and dark
sheep, and one with a dark background and a light sheep.
It is fascinating how we all see the sheep differently. We
wonder which you will see more clearly. Remember,
whichever you use your dark color for, that part of your
coaster will be more dominant.

Difficulty Level:
Size: Our coaster is approximately 4” X 5” but you can make
him whatever size you would like it to be for whatever
project you would like to add him too, with whatever yarn
you would like to use.
Yarn: For our coaster we used Queensland Collections Llama
Lace Natural, as the sheep’s face and Llama Lace Moulinex,
as the background, in colors 109 Black Diamond and 201
Great Sandy.
Needle: US 1 (2.25 mm )straight needles or needles to
obtain gauge
Gauge: Gauge is not super important for this project.
Notions: stitch markers and a tapestry needle
