Wildvine Kerchief was created from a simple and satisfying idea: finding a beautiful use for single skeins and leftover 50 g balls of DK-weight summer fibers. It is a triangular neck / head accessory worked from the tip upwards and increases are added on both edges. An applied I-cord edging is worked simultaneously with the scarf itself and the edge is finished with I-cord ties and bind off for comfortable wear and easy styling.

This pattern offers two lace options, so you can create a look that feels truly yours. The lace instructions are provided in both charted and written form, making the pattern accessible whether you prefer visual or written directions.

Gauge: 18 sts x 32 rows is 10 cm / 4 inches in the lace pattern worked flat after blocking.

Yarn: 50 g or of Sandnes Garn Line (53 % cotton, 33 % viscose, 14 % linen, 110 m / 50 g) or 100 m / 110 yards of similar DK weight yarn.

Needles: 4 mm circular needles

Finished measurements:
Width (without ties) 46 cm / 18 inches
Depth 27 cm / 10.75 inches

You can easily make this bigger by continuing in pattern until you run out of yarn or the scarf is your desired size.

Special Techniques:
I-cord cast-on, applied I-cord
