The vest is worked in the round on a circular needle from the bottom to the top. When the body has the specified length, the work is divided into two, and the back and the front is finished seperately.

Sizes: 4 (5) 6 (7) 8 (9) years.

Yarn requirement: 3 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) skeins of Tynd Lamauld from CaMaRose.dk.

Finished bust circumference: 64 (67) 69 (72) 75 (77) cm.

Finished length: 38.5 (41) 42.5 (45) 46.5 (49) cm.

Suggested needle size: 2.5 and 3 mm circular needle (40 cm for size 4 and 5 years and 60 cm for size 6-9 years), cable needle for the cables, 2.5 mm double pointed needles for the ribbing in the armholes.

Gauge: 30 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in pattern with cables, on a 3 mm needle. If the gauge is not correct, try with a bigger or smaller needle.

Info about the yarn alternatives: The pattern suggests 4 yarn alternatives. The vest can be worked in Pimabomuld, Yaku (merino wool), Tynd Lamauld or Økologisk Sommeruld (a mix of wool and cotton). The 4 different yarns contains different fibres, therefore, the final look will be different too. Tynd Lamauld will give a more woollen look, while the 3 other yarns have a more even surface.
