Wilkinson Scarf
The Wilkinson Scarf is a sweetly simple, rustic shawl that will have you loofking forward to the coldest days of winter. An easy knit in garter and trinity stitches, this is a classic triangle worked from the top center down.
Yarn:
• Foxhill Farm Cormo (100% Cormo; 195 yards/113 grams), 2 skeins.
Needles/Notions:
• US#8/5mm 24” circular needle.
Or size needed to get gauge.
• Tapestry needle.
• Stitch marker.
Gauge:
• 16 stitches/18 rows=4” in garter stitch.
Finished Measurements:
• 64” wingspan; 28” along spine.
Pattern Notes:
Scarf is started with a Provisional Cast-On, then worked from the center out in pattern until desired length is reached. Provisionally cast-on stitches are then unzipped and grafted together using the Kitchener Stitch.
