This cute little bag is another stash buster, written to be made using leftover yarn on hand. It is a quick project made top down in a round or knit flat, folded in half and sewn together along one side. The colours you choose have endless possibilities. The pattern is written to use 2 contrasting colours however, you can knit in one solid colour and disregard the colour changes.

It’s perfect for a beginner who has practiced knit and purl stitches and is keen to try something new. Video links have been attached at the end of the pattern to assist you through some different techniques.

Pattern is written so that different yarn weights can be used for example:
Dk held triple or
Worsted/ aran held double or
Bulky held single
Approximate gauge of 11st - 16 rows = 4” (10cm) in stocking stitch on 9mm needles.
If your gauge is a little off then it will just mean your bag might be a little smaller/larger.

Super Bulky yarn can also be used with 12mm needles with a gauge of 7st - 10 rows = 4” (10cm) in stocking stitch.

Sample bag measures approx 25cm wide and 23cm high.
