This was originally a free pattern that was distributed at Wynona Studios in Oregon City, Oregon for the Willamette Falls Festival on October 12th-14th, 2012.

Due to many requests, we have decided to make this pattern available for purchase to those that were not able to make it to the shop.

This is a fairly simple lace pattern that resembles the water falling over the Willamette Falls. The edging is a simple zig zag lace that looks a little like the rocky banks of the river.

It is knit in two halves and then joined to create a symmetrical scarf. The sample was knit in recycled cashmere fingering weight yarn, but sock yarn would work just as well.

I hope you enjoy this scarf!
