Willemijn Bag
Designed by Johanna Lindahl & Franca Krijnsen
Sturdy yet soft, round, and generously sized—the crochet bag never truly goes out of style, continually reinventing itself. This version features a floral relief motif created using the overlay technique, evoking the delicate beauty of lace. It looks especially elegant in neutral shades and also works perfectly as a project bag for your craft supplies.
The Willemijn Bag came to life when we realised that Johanna’s Lotus Rug design from YARN Bookazine 10 – The Colour Issue could be beautifully adapted into a bag. Franca worked her magic by using the rug’s central motif to form the bag’s sides and expertly crafting a sturdy shoulder strap. Now, Johanna’s stunning design can be taken out and about, ready to be admired by everyone!
Crafted with Legacy crochet thread, a yarn known for its tightly twisted fibres, this bag offers exceptional strength and durability. The natural cotton provides a modern, matte finish, while using a fine crochet hook results in an extra-strong structure—ensuring your creation stands the test of time.
