This original Fair Isle is inspired by Chinese Willow pattern, and looks its best knitted in blue and white. The jumper has a becoming straight neckline and buttons on the shoulders.

Materials: Of Sirdar Super Shetland Wool 3-ply, allow 5 ozs. in white and 3 ozs. in blue, 1 pair each No. 12 and No. 9 knitting needles, a medium size crochet hook and 6 small buttons.

Tension: 17 sts to 2 inches and 25 rows to 3 inches over the Fair Isle.

Measurements: All round underarms, 34 inches; length from shoulder, 18½ inches; sleeve seam, 5 inches.
